The FacilityOur facility is accredited for 24 months of ANZCA training, with comprehensive supervision and training provided in accordance with ANZCA guidelines. We operate 10 theatres across two campuses, delivering a diverse range of services including:
- General surgery
- Orthopaedics
- Urology
- Vascular
- Ophthalmology
- ENT
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Paediatric surgery
- Radiology, cardiology, and respiratory procedures
An Intensive Care Unit and two busy Emergency Departments ensure exposure to a broad case mix.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA
- MBBS or equivalent degree
- Registration with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) as an ANZCA Trainee
- Recent experience in a peri-operative or critical care setting, with a minimum of 3 months' prior experience in anaesthesia
- Independent ANZCA trainees looking to continue their training at a major regional health service are strongly encouraged to apply
