Role Overview
The Security Officer reliever role is responsible for providing a visible security presence while maintaining alertness and focus. As part of an enthusiastic and committed team, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to all clients and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular guard patrols across premises, ensuring timely site unlock and lock-ups;
- Escort staff and personnel on site, promoting a safe working environment;
- Monitor CCTV footage and respond promptly to breach situations, taking necessary action to mitigate risks;
- Direct roving security officers to respond to alarms and take appropriate action;
- Utilize effective communication methods (e.g., radio, phone, log books) to report incidents and issues;
- Maintain accurate logs and records of occurrences, completing necessary paperwork and utilizing computer terminals to input and retrieve data.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Australian citizenship;
- Current South Australian Security License;
- Current South Australian Driver's License;
- Certificate II in Security Operations or higher;
- NV1 Clearance (or willingness to obtain);
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments;
- Capacity to adapt to a 24/7 rotating roster;
- Age requirement: 18 years or older.
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This figure may vary based on location and specific job requirements.
