Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a security presence while remaining alert and focused. This role involves conducting guard patrols, escorting staff and personnel, monitoring CCTV footage, and responding to alarms.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular guard patrols across the premises, ensuring a secure environment at all times.
- Escort staff and personnel on site, maintaining a visible security presence.
- Monitor CCTV footage and respond promptly to any breach situations.
- Direct roving security officers to respond to alarms and take appropriate action.
- Utilize effective communication methods (radio, phone, log books) to report incidents and issues.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of occurrences, completing necessary paperwork and utilizing computer terminals to input and retrieve data.
- Australian Citizenship
- Current South Australian Security License
- Current South Australian Driver's License
- Certificate II in Security Operations or higher
- NV1 Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
