Job Description: Medical Security Officer
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Medical Security Officers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors within healthcare facilities. Your primary duties will include:
- Providing a visible security presence while remaining alert and focused
- Monitoring CCTV footage and radio communication systems to prevent and respond to incidents
- Acting as a customer service ambassador for both clients and healthcare staff
- Patrolling premises to maintain order and prevent intrusion
- Enforcing property rules and regulations to ensure the personal safety of staff, visitors, and property
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A current SA Security License and Driver's license
- A minimum Certificate II in Security Operations
- A Working with Children's Clearance (or ability to gain one upon employment)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent observational and surveillance skills
- Physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
