Orthoptist - Casual Pool Healthcare Professional

We have an exciting opening for an Orthoptist to join our Paediatric Surgery – Ophthalmology team at Women's and Children's Health Network in North Adelaide. As an Orthoptist, you will provide high-quality ophthalmic care and contribute to the effective operation of outpatient clinics.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and manage paediatric ophthalmology and ocular motility conditions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ophthalmic care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- An appropriate degree or Master’s qualification in Orthoptics entitling registration with the Australian Orthoptic Board (AOB) and membership of Orthoptics Australia (OA).
- At least 2 years of experience in paediatric ophthalmology post-qualification.
- Expertise in orthoptic assessment procedures and a strong understanding of paediatric oculomotor function.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
