Aged Care Specialist Central Casual Pool

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Direct Care Workers to join our casual pool at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including residential care homes, across the Barossa Hills Fleurieu region.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to start or further your career in aged care. As a Direct Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, promoting resident independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Participate in recreational activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement
- Support residents with their medication management
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
