Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic leader to manage and deliver front office, MBS events, facilities, and print room services to a level that reflects the School's global standing.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a varied team including Reception, Facilities, and Bookings across a 7-day week.
- Work closely with various stakeholders across the School to ensure that service delivery is maintained at a superior standard.
- Maintain an effective, skilled, and welcoming FOH team (reception and concierge) including scheduling, recruitment, training, and general supervision.
- Lead the daily briefing with catering and facilities staff and ensure specific events and functions information is effectively communicated.
- Management of all hotel and meeting room reservations to maximize capacity and increase productivity, whilst coordinating with the School's academic calendar and teaching delivery needs.
- End-to-end coordination of bookings for all School events, short courses, custom, and degree programs.
- Participation in project planning to significant School events, graduation, reunion events, etc.
- Supporting the conference team.
- Working with the General Manager – Operations to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Management and delivery of facility support services, including print services to all School staff, students, and where appropriate, visitors.
- Management of facilities and security rosters.
- Triaging of helpdesk and facilities requests and escalating to third-party contractors as required.
- Management and administration of the access control system and associated vendors for secure keys and doors.
- Ensuring that the Facilities, building maintenance, capital works, and associated budgets are controlled and managed as agreed.
- Supervision of the facilities, reception, and bookings teams to enable continuous improvement.
We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized leader with significant experience gained in either a venue operations or event management capacity, including some exposure to supervising a facilities function.
Your understanding of and demonstrated experience in contract management and associated service delivery levels will be greatly beneficial.
