**Job Role Overview**

This role is responsible for managing the reservation process across various channels to ensure maximum occupancy and revenue.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
  • Determine guest needs and recommend suitable room types based on their preferences.
  • Verify room availability and rates to ensure optimal pricing.
  • Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Accommodate and document special requests to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Provide detailed information about property facilities and services as well as room accommodations.
  • Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue and meet performance targets.
  • Efficiently input and access data within the reservation system.
  • Indicate special room reservation types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by accurately entering codes and rates into the system.
  • Address guest concerns through proper escalation procedures.
  • Answer telephones with professional etiquette.
