Business Development Manager Role

The Business Development Manager is a key position in corporate banking and investment banking teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients and internal branches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior bankers to market the bank's services and grow lending and investment business.
  • Support and execute transactions in project finance, trade finance, and other corporate finance areas.
  • Prepare financial analysis reports; collaborate with Risk Management for analysis and approval.
  • Participate in corporate transactions, including M&A, privatizations, and capital market deals.
  • Act as the first line of defense in credit underwriting and monitoring.
  • Manage and monitor closed transactions to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Deliver customized financial solutions and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of client relationship and credit experience in corporate banking or investment banking (less may be considered for junior roles).
  • Strong background in project/structured finance or corporate transactions.
  • Credit trained with solid financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
