Job Title: Communications Officer

The Communications Officer role is a critical position within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective communications strategy that aligns with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan to engage stakeholders and promote the organization's mission.
  • Draft and disseminate press releases, media advisories, and other external facing communications materials.

  • Monitor and analyze media coverage to ensure accurate representation of the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in corporate-style communication, with a strong background in writing, editing, and visual communications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style to suit different audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms, including social media management software, email marketing tools, and project management systems.
