">Job Description

We're looking for skilled professionals to join our team as Dynamic Community Support Specialists. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with autism. You'll work closely with participants in their community settings, helping them develop transferable skills that shape their everyday lives.

This is a part-time or full-time position available in Sydney, Western Melbourne, Canberra, and the Illawarra region. You'll have the flexibility to work 3 to 5 days a week, depending on your needs and preferences.

As a Dynamic Community Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting 3 to 4 participants per day in the community
  • Developing and implementing support strategies that cater to each participant's unique needs
  • Collaborating with participants, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy or speech pathology
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in speech pathology or occupational therapy
  • Experience working with individuals with autism (not required but highly desirable)
  • A self-starter mentality, eager to deepen your understanding of neurodivergence
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or willingness to obtain
