About the Role

The Head of Enterprise Services Applications and Architecture will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise in running and optimizing applications related to Group Services and heritage ME Bank operations. This role requires at least 15+ years of experience in banking operations, modern technology trends, and a proven track record in running, architecting, migrating, and implementing a materially significant transformation in the Enterprise domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of Application Platforms: Ensure seamless integration, performance, and security of relevant applications, aligning with the bank's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Architecture Strategy and Planning: Develop and maintain a medium and long-term architecture vision and roadmap for the Enterprise Services domain applications and systems, aligned with the organization's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • ERP & Group Services Systems Design: Lead the design and evaluation of Group Services systems, including General ledger, Human resources, risk management, and regulatory reporting platforms, and integration with third-party services.
  • Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest technology trends, industry standards, and emerging innovations in the banking sector, including AI/advanced algorithms.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the architecture of Group Services systems complies with relevant security standards, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.

About You

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience (typically 12+ years) in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on ERP systems and architecture. They will have a proven track record as an enterprise and solution architect or a similar leadership role, overseeing complex architecture designs and implementations.
