Job Opportunity

The Visitor Liaison and Security Services Team Lead will be responsible for managing a frontline team that provides exceptional service to diverse visitors in a dynamic community environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Guide and mentor the team, prioritizing friendliness, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere where visitors feel valued, heard, and respected.
  • Coordinate team coverage with precinct activity to ensure consistent service and safety presence.
  • Equip the team with skills in customer service, compliance, de-escalation, access and inclusion, and child-safe practices.
  • Lead with calmness and reassurance to ensure safety and venue security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in visitor-facing roles with a strong background in security and excellent customer engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a high-performing, service-oriented team.
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Commitment to safety and inclusion standards.
  • Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management or equivalent experience.
