We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join our team at St Michael's Catholic School, Palm Island. As a Key Position within the school community, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2025, working 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Indigenous students and be committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- To teach and support students in a co-educational setting, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- To contribute to the development of school policies and programs that promote the well-being and success of all students.
- To participate in professional learning and development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
Requirements:
- A relevant tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
- Current Driver's Licence and ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.

- A competitive salary range of $84,077 - $121,092 per annum, pending experience.
