About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ancillary Claims Auditor to join our team at Medibank Private Limited. As an Ancillary Claims Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our claims process and identifying potential risks and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews of health service providers, members, and staff to ensure compliance with Medibank's recognition criteria, Fund Rules, and industry standards.
  • Identify patterns and trends in claims data to inform business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent improper payments and benefit leakage through detection, monitoring, prevention, and investigation of fraud, abuse, waste, and error.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights and best practices, and to drive business outcomes.
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to stakeholders on claims-related matters.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to detect and interpret patterns and trends in data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, with a strong understanding of data manipulation and analysis.
  • Previous experience in a claim audit role is highly desirable.
