Accor is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the ibis Styles Brisbane hotel. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, friendly, and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the service of your shift, ensuring seamless execution of food and beverage operations.
  • Assist with rostering and ordering, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Liaise with customers and the Chef/kitchen team to ensure service times are adhered to, and revenue for the shift is accounted for.
  • Set up systems to protect and maintain control of restaurant and conference service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carrying out regular stock takes.
  • Ensure all mis-en-place is completed prior to guests arriving, and staff are competent in all service procedures.
  • Staff skill testing, training, and development to maintain a constant focus on providing an excellent guest experience.
  • Set up and pack down of events/conference rooms and coordination on the day when required.
  • Coordination of cleaning and maintenance of outlets, work areas, tableware, and utensils and other materials and equipment.
  • Handle any escalated guest complaints to a guest-focused solution.
  • Be knowledgeable of and operate within the outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
  • Previous experience in a F&B Supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Being a true hospitality professional dedicated to providing customer service excellence.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
  • Barista skills.
  • Full Australian Working Rights - this role is not available to be sponsored.
