Strategic Organisational Developer

The People Advisor plays a pivotal role in promoting sustainable growth and environmental resilience through long-term planning and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide coaching and advice to leaders on performance management, misconduct, grievances, fitness for work, and team culture
- Conduct workplace investigations of varying complexity
- Interpret enterprise agreements, employment contracts, and relevant policies
- Support continuous improvement of ER processes, policies, and procedures
- May participate in external claims and disputes before relevant commissions
- Advise on workplace behaviour and misconduct issues
- Support fitness for work assessments and adjustments
- Analyse case data to identify trends and recommend improvements
- Prepare submissions for external claims and represent the organisation in hearings as required
- Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
- Extensive HR generalist experience in medium to large organisations
- Strong background in coaching and advising leaders across a range of HR matters
- Skilled in identifying and resolving complex HR risks and issues
- Experienced in interpreting industrial instruments, policies, and procedures
- Ability to implement HR improvements aligned with business strategy
- Willingness to travel within the state as required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
