Telecommunications Professional Wanted

We are currently seeking an experienced telecommunications expert to bolster our field operations capability in Sydney. To be successful, you must install and upgrade externally mounted telecommunications equipment and associated steel work on all structures in accordance with client specifications, standards, and health, safety, and environment guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • RF Antenna System Installation: Install RF antenna systems to ensure seamless communication connectivity.
  • Feeder System Installation: Install, terminate, and test feeder systems (copper and hybrid) to meet customer requirements.
  • External RF Hardware Installation: Install external RF hardware (RRUs, TMAs, combiners, microwave equipment, etc.) to enhance network performance.
  • Microwave Transmission Installation: Install and link microwave transmission systems to ensure efficient data transfer.
  • Structural Installations: Perform structural installations, including steel work upgrades and cable tray installations.
  • Tower, Pole, and Mast Installations: Install towers, poles, and masts to support telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Handover Documentation: Submit applicable handover documentation to ensure smooth project completion.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Provide input, solutions, and feedback to field managers to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Scope Variation Identification: Identify and report scope variation works required on site to project managers/engineers.

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of telecommunications equipment and a proven track record in installing and upgrading such equipment.
