
COVID-19 Public Health Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Public Health Specialist to join our team and contribute to the Victorian response to COVID-19. The successful candidate will provide high-quality public health insights and advice to support our efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive public health insights to leadership teams and management based on thorough research and analysis.
- Analyse, transform, clean and interpret data related to COVID-19 using statistical software (Stata or R) and other programs (Power Bi and Excel).
- Produce regular reporting products and proactively look for opportunities to improve these where possible.
- Provide guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to detailed reports and briefs.
- Contribute to and facilitate the flow of information across the department and with key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and policies.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to legislative requirements and departmental policies and procedures.
