We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Asset Management Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional asset management services.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a 70-hour fortnight. As an Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing Council's asset systems, ensuring compliance with policies and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply sound engineering, environmental, financial, and safety principles to manage and maintain a register of Council assets.
  • Develop and maintain Council's Asset Management Systems, registers, and associated data.
  • Collect and record accurate physical and financial information for infrastructure projects.
  • Correlate maintenance information, including planned and unplanned activities.
  • Provide infrastructure data for renewal and replacement programs.

Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Asset Management, Engineering, or equivalent, or four years' experience in a related environment.
