Chief Asset Strategist

Asset Systems Manager is responsible for the overall management of Council's asset systems, ensuring they are properly maintained and updated to meet the needs of the organisation.

• Manage and maintain a register of Council assets, including roads, drainage, footpaths, cycle ways, bridges, recreational facilities, aerodromes, land, water supply and sewerage systems.
• Coordinate and develop asset information required by the organisation in compliance with Council policies and relevant statutory requirements.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for asset maintenance and management.

The role requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to coordinate and maintain accurate and complete physical and financial information for Council infrastructure projects.

• Certificate IV in Asset Management, Engineering or equivalent, or four years' experience in related environment.
• Knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and systems, as well as experience in infrastructure condition auditing, data collection methodologies, maintenance prioritisation, and statutory reporting.
• High levels of data literacy, with ability to perform advanced data analysis, complex fault finding/investigations, and implementing performance KPIs.
• Ability to analyse and interpret excel effectively.
• Ideal candidate will understand ISO55001.
• Class C Drivers Licence and General Construction Induction (WHS White Card) are also required.
