Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences

We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Guest Experience Host to join our team at our Dinner Plain resort. As a key member of our hospitality team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and generating sales appointments for our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests, ensuring a seamless check-in experience
  • Offer expert knowledge of local area attractions and activities, helping guests make the most of their vacation
  • Process all department-related paperwork efficiently and accurately
  • Utilize communication equipment, including telephones, facsimiles, and computers, to provide exceptional guest service
  • Meet with guests face-to-face to generate sales appointments for our sales team
  • Build rapport with guests to deliver an exceptional experience, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated
  • Collaborate with the resort operations team to provide a high level of service and a seamless transition for guests through the check-in process
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of traveling within our Wyndham Destinations community
  • Meet targets and KPIs as set by the business
  • This role requires flexibility, including weekend and public holiday shifts

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar hotel position, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests
  • Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude, with a focus on delivering exceptional results
  • Immaculate presentation and professional grooming standards, with a focus on making a great first impression
  • High levels of computer literacy, with experience using PMS systems an advantage
  • Ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Flexibility, including the ability to work a range of shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
