Religious Education Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a culture of faith-filled learning as the Religious Education Coordinator at St Patrick's Primary School in Cessnock. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead initiatives that inspire students and staff to grow in their faith
  • Establish strong relationships with the parish and wider community
  • Support ongoing professional development and mentorship to grow as a leader

Requirements:
  • A practising Catholic with exemplary values and attitudes appropriate to professional practice
  • Understanding of Catholic education philosophy and theology
  • Ability to ensure staff incorporate key understandings in the teaching of Religious Education
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as a member of the school's leadership team

Qualifications:
  • Four-year trained teacher classification
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • Working with Children Clearance number
  • AWTL appropriate to current position
