Job Title: Strategic Industry Partnerships Manager

About the Role:

The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Industry Partnerships Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Strategic Industry Partnerships (SIP) Team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with industry entities to support ASIO's technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Represent ASIO and provide high-level advice on industry engagement at various internal and government forums
* Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for industry partnerships aligned with ASIO's overall goals and objectives
* Maintain and enhance existing industry partnerships and internal teams
* Identify and develop new strategic partnerships, internal/external stakeholder networks, and business opportunities
* Prepare a range of written material, including reports, contracts, problem statements, and other documentation
* Identify and mitigate risks and ensure compliance with ASIO's policies and frameworks
* Provide guidance, mentoring, support, and development opportunities
* Lead by example by promoting and implementing ASIO's Values and business partnering culture

What You Will Bring:

* Experience in business development, partnerships, industry, or contract management
* Ability to negotiate and execute contracts and knowledge of procurement and/or contract management frameworks
* Ability to manage workloads and priorities to meet organisational objectives
* Ability to exercise sound and independent judgement
* Strong communication, networking, representational, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
* Ability to influence, communicate, and resolve conflicts effectively with stakeholders and internal teams
* Ability to prepare high-quality written work aligned with business objectives and regulation, including policy and management frameworks
* High-level strategic and analytical skills
* Ability to prioritise and remain flexible and adaptive in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
* Ability to lead and develop a team
* Strong client service focus with the ability to adapt to varying client requirements

Location:

Positions are located in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Applicants must be willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is provided to successful candidates where ASIO requires you to relocate.
