This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of our assurance strategy.
The role plays a key part in shaping how control testing is carried out across the organisation, ensuring it aligns with the broader Three Lines of Defence model.
As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for driving consistency, automation, and meaningful insights across both business and IT General Controls.
You will work closely with teams across the Group to design and implement a control assurance plan that is tailored to our operating environment.
Key responsibilities include guiding a team of assurance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture, and providing clear, actionable reporting to senior stakeholders.
Engagement with control owners and risk stewards is also a critical aspect of this role, requiring the ability to communicate findings and support them in planning next steps.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- A strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and assurance frameworks
- Ability to apply these in a practical, business-focused way
- Confidence in audit and control testing techniques
- Comfortable working across both business and technology domains
