Job Title: Manager Asset Strategy

SA Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Asset Strategy to lead strategic asset management processes across the SA Health infrastructure and clinical service/administration property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset strategies, asset risk management processes, and land and building renewal strategies.
  • Provide expertise to identify, develop, and manage asset strategies, asset risk management processes, and land and building renewal strategies.
  • Facilitate implementation of policy and guidelines on asset management and efficient utilisation of assets.
  • Provide advice to Local Health Networks (LHN) on the development of LHN strategic infrastructure plans and prepare and maintain alignment with departmental strategic infrastructure planning/policy documentation.
  • Challenge the status quo to simplify, rationalise, or develop assets, systems and processes to meet the needs of the community and continually improve asset management practices.
Requirements:
  • Robust whole of department asset data / information, leading and working closely with the Strategic Property and Facility Consultant (AGFMA) and Asset Information Administrator to progress and execute initiatives that align with departmental strategic objectives.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment, promoting diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
  • Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
