Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Lead to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our Corporate and Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading strategic asset management processes across our infrastructure and clinical service/administration property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Asset Strategies: Provide expertise to identify, develop, implement, and manage asset strategies, asset risk management processes, and land and building renewal strategies.
  • Facilitate Policy Implementation: Facilitate the implementation of policy and guidelines on asset management and efficient utilisation of assets.
  • Provide Advice and Guidance: Provide advice to Local Health Networks (LHN) on the development of LHN strategic infrastructure plans and prepare and maintain alignment with departmental strategic infrastructure planning/policy documentation.
  • Challenge and Improve: Challenge the status quo to simplify, rationalise, or develop assets, systems, and processes to meet the needs of the community and continually improve asset management practices.
Requirements
  • Robust Asset Data: Ensure robust whole of department asset data/information, leading and working closely with the Strategic Property and Facility Consultant (AGFMA) and Asset Information Administrator to progress and execute initiatives that align with departmental strategic objectives.
  • Criminal History Check: Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
