About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Assets Manager to lead our Infrastructure Assets and Maintenance portfolio. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving best practice in civil asset management and maintenance, ensuring our infrastructure and assets are managed to support exceptional services for the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality outcomes for the community through well-maintained, high-quality asset management, infrastructure, and services.
  • Maintain infrastructure and assets in a financially sustainable manner.
  • Lead the Infrastructure Assets and Maintenance portfolio to establish strategic priorities and support delivery through high-performing teams.
  • Ensure Council's Infrastructure Assets and Maintenance team works plans and programs are aligned with the City Plan 2030 objectives.
  • Ensure Council's assets are managed to support exceptional services for the community.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of engineering and asset management principles.
  • Demonstrable experience relating to civil assets design and maintenance, ideally from a local government setting or similar.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification/s in a Civil discipline/s, and/or significant equivalent experience in a field related to this position.
  • Experience leading the development and delivery of strategic priorities, projects, and programs with significant organisational and community impact.
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability, innovative thinking, and informed decision-making skills.
