Exercise Scientist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Scientist to undertake pre-employment screenings and work collaboratively with HR to ensure effective communication.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough functional and physical capacity assessments of candidates
  • Evaluate physical readiness, mobility, and injury risk to guarantee that candidates can safely perform job requirements
  • Provide clear, evidence-based reports and recommendations to HR and management teams
  • Contribute significantly to workplace safety by matching candidate capacity with job demands
Necessary Qualifications
  • Degree in Exercise Science or Human Movement Studies
  • Eligibility for Accreditation as an Exercise Scientist with ESSA
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification and professional indemnity and public liability insurance coverage
  • Desirable experience in functional capacity or pre-employment assessments
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • A proactive approach to risk management and workplace safety
