Hitachi offers a rewarding career opportunity for a Field Service Heavy Equipment Diesel Fitter to join our service department in a permanent full-time position.

This role involves all aspects of Heavy Diesel mechanics and mobile plant equipment fitting, focusing on diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for our valued customer base.

\Required Skills & Qualifications\
  • Trade Qualifications - Minimum Certificate III in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
  • Safety Commitment – Proactive awareness and total assurance of Hitachi's number one priority
  • Experience & Skillset - Heavy Diesel mechanics and field service fitters with demonstrated work experience and technical knowledge of construction equipment - Hitachi equipment experience highly regarded
  • Positive can do attitude
  • Analytical thinking - Ability to navigate complex technical issues in repair and maintenance services with minimal to zero rework
  • Autonomous productivity - Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively, delivering quality outcomes to ensure Total Customer Satisfaction
