The Exercise Physiologist plays a crucial role in providing clinical services to patients with diverse needs.

  • Foster relationships with community-based organizations and healthcare providers to promote healthy lifestyles and exercise practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports adhering to NSW Health standards and guidelines.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on the latest research, technologies, and best practices in exercise physiology.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Hold a Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science.
  • Be currently eligible for full membership of the Exercise and Sports Science Australia Professional Association.
  • Have advanced clinical knowledge, skill, and significant clinical experience in the provision of clinical care across a wide range of practice areas within their discipline, including palliative care, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
  • Hold a valid NSW driver's license (P1 and P2 licenses acceptable).
