About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team at The Westport Club in Port Macquarie. As a Full Time Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and memorable experiences for our local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals for our waterfront restaurant, cafe, and events centre.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with training and mentoring our team members to develop their culinary skills.
  • Contribute to menu design, implementation, and cost control to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor stock levels and minimize waste to maintain a high level of efficiency in the kitchen.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
