We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Panthers Port Macquarie. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
- Work collaboratively with our Senior Chefs to develop and implement new menu ideas and culinary concepts.
- Ensure that all kitchen operations are run efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a fast-paced cooking role within the hospitality industry.
- Previous function catering experience.
- Strong passion and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional food service.
- Commercial Cookery Trade Qualifications.
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure.
- Fantastic verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions in a prompt and efficient manner.
