
Lead Network Architect

This is a unique opportunity to work on designing and implementing routing, switching, and firewall solutions. You will be part of a highly experienced group of network and systems engineers who actively manage and grow their technical capabilities through various means.
The role primarily involves project deployment and consulting tasks involving the upgrade, remediation, review, and analysis of IT and OT environments and infrastructure within your area of expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement routing, switching, and firewall solutions;
- Contribute to larger project designs and deployments;
- Work on reviewing and analyzing existing IT and OT environments, systems, and infrastructure;
- Communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams including clients and internal resources;

Requirements- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Network Engineer/Firewall Engineer and at least 5-8 years as a Senior Network/Firewall Engineer with routing, switching, and firewall deployment experience;
- An Information Technology (IT) qualification such as TAFE Certificate IV/Diploma or Bachelor of Computer Science/Information Technology Degree or equivalent education/experience;
- Active Professional or equivalent-level technical Networking/Firewall certification(s);
- Certification or equivalent knowledge/experience in the configuration/deployment/support of a commercial-grade firewall platform;
- General knowledge of secure IT/OT environment principles, network, and systems design;
- Demonstrated high-level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail;
- Experience working in a billable environment with timesheeting responsibilities;
- Australian citizen or permanent resident;
- Experience in reading and interpreting infrastructure and engineering diagrams;
- Mining/Resources and Oil and Gas Industry experience preferably onsite;
