The role of Senior Network Engineer involves designing and implementing routing, switching, and firewalls. This professional contributes to larger project designs and deployments.
Key responsibilities include project deployment and consulting tasks involving the upgrade, remediation, review, and analysis of IT and OT environments, systems, and infrastructure.
Work can be conducted onsite at client locations or remotely from offices with minimal travel required.
Candidates must be based in Western Australia or Queensland.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- At least 4 years relevant experience and required knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree, Tafe IT Certificate IV+ or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Associate Level Technical industry/vendor certification (Active) E.g., CCNA, JNCIA, Microsoft Associate level etc.
- Knowledge/experience in a second area from the primary area of technical specialisation.
- Experienced in creating Detailed Design/High-Level Design (HLD)/Low-Level Design Documents.
- General knowledge of secure IT/OT environment, network, and systems design principles.
- Experienced in providing technical consulting expertise to organisations.
- Experienced in project scoping and pre-sales estimations along with writing/contributing to sections of project proposal documents.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
