The Role
We are seeking a skilled Disability Employment Specialist to join our team in Launceston, TAS. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our participants to transform their lives. You will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and our participants, to deliver tailored employment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Employment Opportunity Identification: Identify and secure employment opportunities for participants with local employers.
- Participant Support: Support our participants to identify skills to become job ready.
- Service Delivery: Deliver quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements.
- Employability Enhancement: Enhance participants' employability through training and support service referrals.
- Personalized Job Plans: Develop personalized job plans for clear employment pathways.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups.
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- A MyGovID (Standard level).
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check.
- Able to pass a Working with Children Check.
- Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
