We are seeking an Electrical Operations Manager to join our team in Alice Springs, Australia.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising construction craft personnel in the electrical discipline, ensuring effective execution of tasks and maintaining project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and direction to electrical teams, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and project objectives.
  • Coordinate activities with other crafts to ensure proper integration and completion of projects.
  • Maintain quality and productivity standards in accordance with project specifications and objectives.
  • Plan labor requirements, scheduling, and assigning tasks to meet project timelines and objectives.
  • Forecast and plan resources needed for electrical tasks and projects.
  • Ensure adherence to strict safety protocols, conducting regular safety briefings and inspections.
  • Monitor work quality, ensuring it meets or exceeds project standards and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and logistical problems encountered by the electrical team during construction activities.
  • Offer expert advice and technical guidance to the team, ensuring they are trained on the latest electrical standards and practices.
  • Regularly report progress, challenges, and the status of the electrical work to ensure transparency and prompt resolution of issues.

Requirements:

  • A US or Australian citizen.
  • A US TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance.
  • A Journeyman or Master Electrical License (or AUS Equivalent).
  • A minimum of seven years of electrical engineering experience.
  • A minimum of three years of supervisory experience, Completion of courses or certifications in leadership or management is highly recommended.
  • Safety Certification: Training and certification in electrical safety, OSHA standards, and other relevant safety protocols.
  • Ability to maximize technical, performance, and operational efficiencies and minimize lifecycle costs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum.
