About the Role

Amentum is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team in Alice Springs, Australia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with electrical safety codes and regulations.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical inspection, leadership, and project management. You will lead the site electrical safety program, manage inspections, and provide technical advice to ensure the safe operation of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the site electrical safety program, including developing and implementing procedures and training programs.
  • Conduct regular electrical inspections to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Provide technical advice and support to teams on electrical safety matters.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of inspections and testing.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans to address any safety issues identified during inspections.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical inspection and leadership roles.
  • A strong understanding of electrical safety codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
