As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations and works conform to the requirements of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and JDFPG Policy and Procedures. You will lead the Site Electrical Safety Program and contribute as a technical authority and SME in support of facilities infrastructure, systems and equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, developing, implementing and maintaining the Electrical Safety Program
- Managing the Site Electrical Inspection program and associated training curriculum
- Inspecting electrical installations, repairs or modifications to ensure conformance to relevant codes, standards, plans and specifications
- Conducting field inspections and compiling investigation reports
- Supporting the early identification, communication and resolution of technical deficiencies and/or issues associated with critical infrastructure installation, recapitalization and configuration change activities
- Integrating, coordinating, compiling and communicating technical information, recommendations and advice relevant to facility electrical infrastructure, systems and equipment
- Facilitating and advising on technical integration activities and initiatives
- Providing technical recommendations, input, direction and advice on facilities system, infrastructure and equipment reliability, operation, maintenance and life-cycle management
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A State Licensed Master Electrician qualification
- Experience in domestic, commercial and industrial electrical work, including reading and interpreting electrical installation blueprints
- Leadership and management skills, including project management and planning
- Configuration management and LOTO and other EH&S procedures
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and develop your skills and knowledge in electrical safety and inspection.
