Electrical Services Coordinator for Underground Mining Operations

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Services Coordinator to join our team at Newmont Tanami. As a key member of our underground operations, you will play a critical role in delivering safe and efficient electrical services.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile equipment and fixed plant electrical infrastructure, including but not limited to Sandvik drills, Normet, R2900xe CAT loaders, Epiroc equipment, raise bore motors, drives, transformers, instrumentation, power distribution networks, substations, distribution boards, and related components.
This is an 8:6 work roster with hiring points from Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth, and Brisbane. You will report directly to the Electrical Supervisor.
Requirements- Degree or trade certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or engineering in the mining industry;
- Proven ability to analyze tasks and understand safety and job specifications;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities;
- A valid Australian vehicle license.
