Role Overview

Xero is a leading cloud-based accounting platform that empowers small businesses to thrive. As a Lifecycle Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's global small business lifecycle and engagement strategy. Your primary objective will be to accelerate conversion, time to value, and drive continuous incremental uplifts throughout our direct to small business channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute personalized, orchestrated journeys that are impactful, relevant, and beautiful, leveraging all direct marketing channels, tooling, and data at your disposal.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Digital Product, Content, Regional Marketing, Digital Media, Design, and Analytics specialists, to deeply understand the end-to-end customer journey and inform your recommendations.
  • Identify and provide requirements for customer research along the lifecycle journey to ensure actionable insights and tracking of real customer problems.
  • Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to gain insights into customer engagement behavior and inform other areas of the business.
  • Drive customer lifecycle programs that are commercially aligned to business goals and strategy.
  • Ideate and drive optimization and innovation within the customer journey.
  • Lead end-to-end development and execution of project initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and post-analysis.
  • Analyze experiment and journey performance, tying it back to original objectives and hypothesis, and report on results to stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in email marketing and/or marketing automation platforms and digital experimentation.
  • Deep understanding of human-centered design, service design, or design thinking.
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, SQL, AMPscript, and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Self-motivation, achievement-oriented, innovative thinking, and ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to communicate the 'why' for each project to stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of audience data and segmentation.
