About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a Senior Operations Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management of accommodation support and respite services, ensuring high-quality outcomes and consistent service provision for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Provide strategic guidance and supervision to operational service delivery staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, 24-hour support to people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Foster effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including people with disabilities, families, guardians, other government agencies, and non-government organizations.
  • Monitor the implementation of legislative requirements, departmental policies, and guidelines to ensure compliance and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing operational teams in a disability support context.
  • Strong knowledge of legislative requirements, departmental policies, and guidelines related to disability support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Degree or higher in a relevant field, such as social work, psychology, or disability studies.
