Job Title: Alumni Relations Coordinator

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is passionate about community building and creating meaningful relationships. As an Alumni Relations Coordinator, you will play a key part in nurturing and strengthening our connections with our alumni through creative events, programs, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:">
  • Develop and deliver a dynamic program of alumni engagement activities and events aligned with the School's strategic goals
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with our alumni community, increasing their involvement and support
  • Organise reunions, professional networking events, and the annual Past Staff Reunion
  • Manage the alumni database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Communicate effectively across multiple channels including social media, The Crest, and the School website
  • Collaborate with interstate and international Chapter groups to expand engagement opportunities
  • Work alongside volunteers and archivists to create meaningful event experiences and exhibitions
  • Identify potential donors and strategic partners to support fundraising initiatives
  • Assist in developing a long-term Alumni Engagement Strategy, including activity planning and budgeting
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of alumni programs, using data to continuously improve outcomes

  • A thorough knowledge of alumni relations best practices, ideally within an educational setting, and an understanding of its link to fundraising
  • The ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment
  • Strong initiative, innovation, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management capabilities, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, comfortable leading or supporting teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Potentiality software is a plus
