Job Description:

  • Hunt new sales opportunities to achieve stipulated sales targets.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, conferences, networking events, and referrals.
  • Possess knowledgeable skills in freight forwarding transportation, contract logistics, and multimodal solution selling.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Buildd and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Understand customers' needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Input and timely update sales activities utilizing CRM systems.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  • Drive and lead the RFQ process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 5 years' sales/business development experience in Logistics/Freight-forwarding.
  • Solid working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding and contract logistics industry.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow, and close business opportunities.
  • Results-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Great negotiation, consultative, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, be organized, methodical, and deal well under pressure.
