Job Description:
- Hunt new sales opportunities to achieve stipulated sales targets.
- Generate leads through cold calling, conferences, networking events, and referrals.
- Possess knowledgeable skills in freight forwarding transportation, contract logistics, and multimodal solution selling.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Buildd and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
- Understand customers' needs and develop customized solutions.
- Input and timely update sales activities utilizing CRM systems.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
- Drive and lead the RFQ process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications with a minimum of 5 years' sales/business development experience in Logistics/Freight-forwarding.
- Solid working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding and contract logistics industry.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to research, identify, tackle, grow, and close business opportunities.
- Results-driven, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Great negotiation, consultative, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, be organized, methodical, and deal well under pressure.
