Quarry Operations Manager Role

To drive business success, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Quarry Operations Manager to join our team.

The primary focus of this role is to ensure the availability of skilled resources, plant, and equipment to deliver products on time and meet quality standards. A strong emphasis on safety and zero harm culture is crucial for the success of our operations.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Driving a zero-harm culture across all quarries to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legislative requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with management teams to execute major revenue projects, including procuring mobile plant and contract crushing resources.
  • SUPPORTING quarry operations in delivering capital projects and upgrades.
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities across the quarry business.
  • Coordinating training activities and trainer/assessor resources.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in quarrying or project management, preferably in mining or construction materials.
  • A proven track record of managing large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Microsoft Project.
  • Safety and environmental leadership with a focus on zero-harm culture.
  • Certificate IV or above in Surface Extraction or Project Management (Desirable).
  • Full driver's license.
