Quarry Site Operations Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quarry Site Operations Leader to lead our day-to-day quarry operations, drive production performance, and ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in quarrying or mining operations, and a collaborative approach to team management.
  • They will oversee production planning, maintenance scheduling, and statutory obligations as Site Senior Executive (SSE) under Queensland legislation.
  • A key aspect of this role is leading, developing, and mentoring a capable operational team to achieve exceptional results.

In order to excel in this position, the successful candidate will require:

  • Current SSE competency (for >20 persons) or the ability to obtain
  • Strong leadership track record in quarrying, mining, or heavy industry operations
  • Able to bring the best out of a team through effective communication and collaboration
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of safety and environmental compliance
  • Be a practical problem-solver with strong operational know-how
