Quarry Operations Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Quarry Operations Manager to lead our team in North Brisbane, Queensland.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, such as SSE regulations in Queensland.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team to achieve safety, environmental, and productivity objectives.
  • Develop and implement a Continuous Improvement culture across all activities and teams.
  • Maintain risk levels by ensuring effective safeguards and procedures are in place.
  • Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of cut faces, benches, and quarry works.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience in heavy manufacturing or quarries/surface mining.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience working within the Australian workplace health and safety framework.
  • Ability to develop and implement efficient processes and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with end clients and stakeholders.
  • Current knowledge of regulatory changes and amendments affecting the industry.
