Quarry Operations Manager Position

This is a highly responsible role that oversees the entire quarry operation from production planning to maintenance scheduling.

The successful candidate will lead a close-knit crew who take pride in their work, fostering a positive and productive site culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective production plans to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with environmental, safety, and industry standards.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a capable operational team.
  • Fulfill statutory obligations as Site Senior Executive (SSE) under Queensland legislation.
  • Manage resources and operational efficiency to achieve business objectives.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current SSE competency (for >20 persons) or the ability to obtain.
  • Strong leadership track record in quarrying, mining, or heavy industry operations.
  • A collaborative leader who can bring the best out of a team.
  • Excellent understanding of safety and environmental compliance.
  • Practical problem-solver with strong operational know-how.
