Job Title: Global Supply Chain Coordinator

 

We are seeking an experienced Global Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing warehouse management activities, ensuring the security and safety of cargo, and managing Value-added Service (VAS) operations.

 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, international freight forwarding, and the ability to lead, train, and mentor staff to achieve business outcomes. They must also have high attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and knowledge of Dangerous Goods, Handling, and Stowage requirements.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Implementing quality control techniques and procedures through regular meetings, promoting safe work practices, and regulatory compliance checks.
  • Maximising profitability and return through effective planning, supervising, and coordination of essential duties.
  • Maintaining high-level communications and promoting a proactive, team-orientated, and safety-focused team culture.
  • Supervising, managing, coaching, and mentoring staff to meet organisational requirements.
  • Liaising with management, suppliers, and customers regarding distribution operations.
  • Managing ABF Customs 77G Depot.
  • Ensuring compliance to DAWR & RACA accreditations.

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience within a similar role - International Freight Forwarding.
  • The ability to lead, train, and mentor staff to achieve business outcomes.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to meet competing deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Dangerous Goods, Handling, and Stowage requirements.
  • Computer literacy skills - MS Office Suite word, excel, and outlook.
  • RACA accreditation, DAWR Approved Arrangement accreditation, DG air accreditation preferred.
