Job Opportunity: Housing Officer

Housing Choices Australia is seeking a skilled Housing Officer to join our dynamic Housing Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality housing management services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate communication with residents to address concerns and queries.
  • Manage tenancy agreements, including rent collection, income reviews, and tenancy inspections.
  • Resolve resident complaints proactively and enforce rental policies as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to support and sustain social housing tenancies.
  • Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Social Housing, Community Services, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing a sizeable portfolio of tenancies and handling complex housing management issues.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to manage challenging customer/client interactions.
  • Highly developed communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills, along with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
